Former PDE board member, Elaine Foley is attending grad school at the Laban Institute in London and has also been cast to perform in the Olympic opening ceremonies. How exciting! Representing PDE!

Also Mara Mandradjieff has been featured in an online arts critic site about her rehearsing for George Balanchine's "Who Cares?" with the Georgia Ballet. Hi Pitt Dance Ensemble!
I recently received a Pitt Alumni enewsletter and saw Susan Gillis Kruman teaching a Lifelong Learning class. I was a PDE dancer in 1981 and remember Susan from my dance days at Pitt. Curious, I searched around and was excited to find she's still with PDE as faculty director. (back then we didn't have internet! Wow!). I pulled out my old photo albums and have several photos of our 1981 dance concert. Would love to share those online.
I'm 61 and still dancing 3-4 times a week. Back then, I admired older women dancers with their depth of movement wisdom. They inspired me and I've always said I'll dance into my 80's and beyond. And here I am still dancing at 61!
I also teach Inclusive Dance for people with 'dis'Abilities and all abilities here in NC.
I'll figure out how to post my 1981 PDE photos and a bit about my dance life now.
